Good News Lutheran School
Good News Lutheran School provides high quality Christian education for P – 6 students in the western suburbs of Brisbane. It is founded on the principles of the Christian faith as taught by the Lutheran Church of Australia.
We aim to deliver an educational experience that meets each child wherever they are on their individual journey and move them forward in a positive and supportive environment. Every child is important to us and we seek to work in partnership with you to give them the best opportunities for success that we can.
Good News encompasses attractively landscaped grounds including grassy shaded areas for seating and play, playgrounds for motor skill development, a swimming pool, netball / basketball / tennis courts, and an oval for team games. Good News has two classes per year level and is currently capped at 380 students.
Mount Ommaney Special School
Mount Ommaney Special School and Early Childhood Development Programs provides multi-award winning educational programs for learners with disabilities from birth through to their graduation from formal schooling. While our school is located in the suburb of Mount Ommaney, we provide service to areas well beyond the Centenary suburbs.
In line with recent school growth and an expanding focus, the school is organised into four sectors of learning; early years, middle school, senior school and intensive interaction. The school’s vision is to provide engaging, relevant curriculum and innovative specialised teaching in partnership with families and the community in a safe, supportive environment.
We prioritize partnerships with families as a key strategy to effectively support the development of our students.
