Held at Rocks Riverside Park which is located in Counihan Road, Seventeen Mile Rocks Qld 4073, there is plenty of room for young and old to stretch out and relax or run around and play some sports. Car parking is plentiful within the park but if you miss out there is plenty of street parking too which is all free.
This event is primarily for families and the community to come together and enjoy a day filled with old-fashioned fun and entertainment. Over the past years we have seen many smiles, heard copious amounts of laughter and delighted in the wonderful community spirit this event evokes in people.
Secondly this event, which is sponsored entirely by the generosity of businesses, local Council and government, raises funds for charitable organisations. Each year we choose two charities who have been nominated by members of our community and divide the proceeds of the day equally. We like to reach out to those charities that are a little lesser-known and/or don’t receive a great deal of funding from other sources, but are a huge support to many in our community.
Our next event is going to be held on Sunday, 8th September 2019 from 10am to 3pm. Don’t miss it!

Attractions & Entertainment
There will be plenty of free attractions to keep the young ones amused whilst you can sit back and listen to local talented artists performing throughout the day. Some of the attractions coming are:
- Just Poppy’s Burger Eating Championship

Food & Drinks
We will have a crowd favourite – the sausage sizzle. Add fried onions, cheese and your choice of sauce to top it off, along with icy-cold soft drinks and water to quench your thirst.
We will also have plenty of food vans serving a variety of delicious taste sensations, along with sweet treats and drinks.
Raffles & Market Stalls
The raffle stall is full of wonderful prizes generously donated by the local business community. We will run a ‘cent auction’ along with grocery, money tree, movie package and bundle-o-booze raffles. The raffles will be drawn later in the day but if you’re not there, don’t worry, we will contact you to organise the collection of your prize.
Market stalls will be plentiful and will include hand-made crafts, wildlife education, food, toys, decor, beauty and more!
Please come along and support local!
